"A new furniture factory" has opened in Glazov. It will assemble various modular furniture: kitchen frames and fronts, wardrobes and cupboards.

By 2023, the factory plans to reach its design capacity and manufacture products worth 1 billion rubles.

According to the head of the republic, Alexander Brechalov, the factory will become one of the largest furniture production facilities in Glazov with a total investment of 762 million rubles.

"The project will give the republic 232 new jobs. Also within the framework of the agreement between the Republic and the Foundation for Monocities, the factory has received additional support from the Foundation for the construction of engineering networks and roads totaling 102.2 million rubles. Of that, 81.81 million rubles - monocities development fund means, 20.4 million rubles - means of the republic and the city", - he said.

The territory of the new venture covers more than seven hectares.
