In Udmurtia the construction of another mega-farm for 1,712 cows has started.

The production facility will be located on the territory of Kolos agricultural cooperative in Vavozhsky District.

It will have two cowsheds, a dairy unit and a maternity ward.

As explained by the farm chairman Vladimir Krasilnikov, it was decided to start the construction after the successful launch of the first mega-farm in Vavozh in 2020. During the year of its existence, it has proved its economic attractiveness. The complex gives more than 40 tons of milk a day.

At the same time, he noted that the nuances of production will be fine-tuned in the new farm, for example, a wider fodder table will be made in order to introduce new self-propelled dispensers.

More than 50 new and reconstructed livestock facilities, as well as three robotic farms are expected to be commissioned in Udmurtia in 20201.
