Russian enterprises will begin to receive subsidies for opening their SOs abroad

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia (Ministry of Industry and Trade) intends to begin issuing subsidies for the opening of service centers to service Russian equipment abroad from autumn, the director of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in Foreign Trade of the Ministry, Roman Chekushev said, writes TASS.

"This year we reserved 300 million rubles for the implementation of this mechanism, because we understand that it is unlikely to work before the end of the third or beginning of the fourth quarter. Now we have 700 million rubles in our plans for 2022, 1 billion rubles for 2023 and 1 billion rubles for 2024," Chekushev said.

In order to implement the subsidies, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared a draft government decree on state support for after-sales service of goods supplied for export. According to Chekushev, the document is now at the stage of final approval.

"We very much hope that, taking into account the procedures, the act will definitely come into force by the end of the month and we will be able to proceed with the selection," he said.
