Investors have invested 17 billion rubles in the development of technoparks in Moscow

The total investment volume in creation of technoparks in Moscow exceeded 17 billion rubles, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina said.

"Currently six sites have the status of priority investment project. The total amount of investment in the creation of these technology parks has already exceeded 17 billion rubles," - she said on the portal of the mayor of Moscow mos.ru.

Now there are 43 technoparks in the capital.

"Moscow government supports investors who create technoparks in the capital for innovative business. For this purpose a special mechanism is developed - the status of priority investment project. It gives investors an opportunity to reduce the overall regional tax burden. Thus, regional profit tax is reduced (13,5 percent instead of 18 percent), property tax rate is zeroed, and land rent is 0,01 percent of cadastral value", - noted in the mayoralty.

The program of subsidizing a part of expenses at construction of technoparks also operates for developers. Investors can get subsidies on interest payment on loans for Technopark property complex development (up to 300 million rubles per year), on loans for equipment purchasing (up to 200 million rubles per year), on reimbursement of leasing costs (up to 100 million rubles per year), and also a subsidy for technological connection (up to 100 million rubles).

At the same time, for construction of the future technopark, companies implementing a large-scale investment project may, without tenders, sign a lease agreement for a land plot owned by Moscow for six years, the city government added.
