Moscow resumes restrictions for businesses from June 13 due to increased incidence of covid-19 disease

Moscow enterprises should again transfer at least 30% of their employees, especially those over 65 and chronically ill, to remote work due to an increase in cases of covid-19 infection in the city. The requirement does not apply to employees vaccinated with coronavirus vaccines, follows a decree by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"Establish that employers operating in Moscow, it is recommended that from June 13, 2021 to transfer employees, performers under civil law contracts to remote work: at least 30 percent of employees, ... employees from among citizens over 65 years of age, as well as citizens with diseases, the list of which is determined by the Department of Health of the City of Moscow, except for the citizens whose presence in the workplace is critical to ensure the functioning of organizations, individual entrepreneurs. In determining the number of employees ... subject to transfer to remote working, do not take into account persons who have received vaccination against a new coronavirus infection", - says the document.

In addition, the work of food courts, children's play areas and zoos is suspended from June 13. In addition, clubs, bars, restaurants, karaoke are prohibited from operating at 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (except for the sale of goods, takeaway service, delivery of orders and personal services), as well as entertainment events there.

The document also introduces additional weekends - from June 15 to 19 - for organizations and individual entrepreneurs.
