Japanese company Fanuc opened an engineering center in Skolkovo for 1 billion rubles

The engineering center of Japanese manufacturer of industrial robotics and high-precision machine tools Fanuc was opened in Skolkovo.

The center will help develop, improve and implement new ideas at Russian enterprises in the field of robotization, machine tooling, precision casting, high-precision milling and electro-erosion works.

The showroom of the new centre occupies 7 thousand square metres. There are laboratories with the possibility of preliminary testing of products of Russian companies and the Fanuc Academy. Also the latest technological developments of the Japanese manufacturer are presented in the center.

In addition, the center's territory will be used to demonstrate Russia's first 5G industrial Internet project.

The Japanese company has invested more than one billion rubles in its creation.

As General Director of the Russian branch of Fanuc Alexander Yashkin said, the center is open to all market participants - roboticists, machine tool builders, engineers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs.
