The Russian Export Center (REC) has extended the deadline for applications to participate in the All-Russian contest "Exporter of the Year" due to high activity of the participants until June 30, according to the center's website.

"Until June 30, exporters from all eight federal districts can submit their applications for participation in the contest. Individual entrepreneurs, small, medium and big business companies are invited to apply for the award", - reads the report.

Export results for the last year will be assessed separately for small and medium-sized companies and large businesses in several categories: exporter of the year in industry or services, in agriculture and high technology. Besides, traders of the year and breakthrough of the year will be announced according to the contest results (only for small and medium-sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs). Large businesses will be nominated in the "New Geography" category.

After that the best exporters from each federal district will be chosen among them. The awards ceremony will be held in November at the "Made in Russia" International Export Forum attended by top government officials, the REC said.
