Moscow authorities have allocated almost 90 billion rubles for business assistance
More than 57,000 organizations in Moscow receive state support.
"Five support packages have been adopted by the Moscow government to the amount of 89.7 billion rubles. <...> More than 57 thousand organizations and more than 770 thousand employees are covered by support measures today," the mayor's office said.
Authorities are also working actively to support people. It allocated 17 billion rubles for unemployment benefits, 200 thousand people have been employed since the beginning of 2020. 1.9 million residents of Moscow over 65 years old or with chronic diseases got 4 thousand rubles during the period of self-isolation.
In addition, assistance was provided by volunteers and social workers. More than 700 thousand services were provided at the request of the call centre of the capital's social development complex, and 300 thousand psychological services were provided. Since February 2020, 16 boarding houses and sanatoriums were deployed on the basis of rehabilitation centers.
