The Russian government has approved the rules for granting subsidies for after-sales service of exported products.

According to the document signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, it will be possible to receive up to 350 million rubles for one project, one enterprise can be granted up to 1 billion rubles in total.

"The new support measure will make it possible to improve the quality of after-sales service of Russian products supplied to foreign markets. It will make it more attractive for foreign buyers, which will have a positive impact on export growth rates," the government believes.

The money can be used by the companies for setting up service centers in foreign countries, purchasing equipment for them and staff training.

In addition, the applicants for state support will have to undergo a competitive selection process. The participants will be selected by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the assistance of the Russian Export Center. The documents for participation will be accepted electronically through the State Industry Information System.
