Russian Trade Representative to Armenia met with the director of the consulting company Credit Partner (affiliated with the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia), during which bilateral cooperation was discussed.

In particular, they talked about the entry of Russian and Armenian companies in foreign markets and the provision of legal and advisory support, such as customs regulations, monitoring and identifying trade barriers and obstacles.

"In addition, the sides discussed opportunities to exchange information databases on potential partners, views on the investment and business climate in Armenia, as well as existing prospects for Russian producers to enter Middle Eastern markets from Armenia," the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said in a statement on its website.

Trade Representative Anna Donchenko talked about the possibilities of involvement in joint events for expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the countries.

She reminded that Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom-2021" will be held in Ekaterinburg on July 5-8.

"Participants will have the opportunity to establish direct contacts with business leaders and government officials, as well as b2b meetings with manufacturers, investors and buyers. I hope this exhibition will serve as an excellent platform for Russian-Armenian cooperation in introducing new products and technologies in the future," Donchenko said.
