Stavropol producers of confectionery, delicatessen, sausages, dried fruits and mineral water intend to export their products to Slovakia.

"Stavropol exporters expressed their interest in cooperation with Slovakia, presented their products and spoke about the capabilities of their companies and accumulated export experience," the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said in a report following a direct line with the Russian trade representative in Slovakia, Sergey Stupar.

During the negotiations representatives of Stavropol enterprises were told about peculiarities of certification of Russian products in Europe, existing tariffs and duties when importing goods to Slovakia. Moreover, Russian exporters learnt about the exhibitions in Slovakia, where they can present their own products.

Representatives of Peterka&Partners introduced the peculiarities of doing business in Slovakia, the tax system in the country, labour law and business support services for exporters.
