Krasnoyarsk gardeners can get grants up to 2 million rubles for development

The Krasnoyarsk Territory Ministry of Agriculture is accepting applications from local gardeners and vegetable growers for grants to build, repair or reconstruct power grids, roads and water supply facilities in garden and non-commercial associations (CNT), according to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Chairmen of SNT can send their application till July 9.

"The requirements for competitors - no debts to the budget on the first day of the month of application, registration in the register of non-profit partnerships of the region, claiming state support, and the decision of the general meeting of members of the association, indicating the event, for which the money is requested, and its cost," - says the message.

Also, applicants must invest at least 10% in the implementation of the conceived, and the remaining costs will be reimbursed from the regional budget.

Since 2017, the region has had a program to support gardening and horticulture. During this period, about 230 associations have upgraded roads, electricity and water supply. Conditions on their garden plots have been able to improve more than 250 thousand people, said First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region Alexander Pokhodin.

In the last four years more than 142 million rubles has been allocated to support horticulture and market gardening. Another 50 million roubles will be allocated this year, 26 million out of which will be earmarked for grants.
