Yakutsk company Star of the Arctic is ready to invest in the construction of a greenhouse complex in the town of Gusinoozersk in Buryatia. This was reported by the Buryatia Regional Development Fund.

It is known that the company has held a series of meetings with the administration of Selenginsk district and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Buryatia, as well as received approval from a major federal bank and the Far East and Arctic Development Fund.

It is planned that the facility will be launched in 2023 and will reach its design capacity as early as 2024.

It is worth noting that the construction of a year-round greenhouse complex for growing vegetables in Gusinoozersk was launched back in 2018. It was assumed that 15 billion rubles would be invested in the production within 10 years. The capacity of the complex was estimated at 9 tons of vegetables per year. However, the former investor could not find the necessary funds.

"Star of the Arctic" already has experience in implementing a similar project. The company has previously launched a greenhouse complex in Yakutia and continues to increase its capacity.
