A "Made in Russia" participant agreed on cooperation with a Hungarian company

Chief breeder of Agroplasma(participant of the Made in Russia project) Nikolay Benko held a meeting with the Hungarian breeding and seed company Woodstock, which is famous in Russia for its maize hybrids, about scientific cooperation, according to the company's website.

"Successful breeding companies cannot exist without continuous scientific cooperation. Only in this way new germoplasm, new "blood" for creating hybrids, appears. In the process of negotiations, agreements were reached to jointly test maize hybrids for evaluation and further planning of cooperation," follows from the statement of Agroplasma.

The domestic company stressed that Agroplasma is always open for cooperation.

The talks took place during the visit of a delegation from Hungary to Krasnodar region.

Today, Agroplasma is one of the leading Russian producers of hybrid sunflower, sorghum and corn seeds in terms of production and sales of finished seed material and selection of new hybrid varieties.
