Acceptance of applications for the export accelerator started in Moscow

Moscow companies can take part in the fifth flow of the export accelerator "Exporters 2.0", organized by the Moscow Export Center (MEC) and the Moscow School of Management "Skolkovo", reported the Mayor's Office of Moscow.

"The accelerator is designed for Moscow export-oriented companies, which thanks to the program will be able to form a plan for launching international sales, increase export volume and expand the geography of their presence on global markets," noted Alexey Fursin, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the capital.

The programme consists of four modules: "Global Market and Competitive Product", "Distribution Model", "Monetization Model" and "Export Roadmap". Each of them will last for a week. Trainings, entrepreneurial workshops, as well as case studies of successful cases are planned within the accelerator, and specialists with international sales experience will provide companies with active expert support.

The Exporters 2.0 program was launched by IETC and Skolkovo in 2019. During this time, the graduate organizations have concluded 57 foreign trade contracts for a total value of about 600 million rubles. For example, a manufacturer of alarm complexes concluded a contract for delivery to Slovakia, and a company specializing in heat exchange solutions launched exports to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Armenia.

To apply for the fifth stream and to read the requirements of the program, please visit the IETC website. From all applicants the expert commission will select 30 companies, for which the IETC will finance 85% of the cost of participation in the program.
