AliExpress Russia will open a fulfilment center in the Moscow region. According to TASS, its representatives have already signed a long-term lease agreement for a warehouse to organize local delivery.

According to the source, AliExpress has decided to develop its logistics infrastructure and has moved away from the exclusive work with Cainiao.

From now on, the company will interact with Cainiao as one of the logistics service providers and will continue to use the Domodedovo fullfilment.

AliExpress Russia is a joint venture between Alibaba Group, Mail.ru Group, Megafon and Russian Direct Investment Fund for e-social commerce in Russia and the CIS. The company was established on October 9, 2019. Until the last time Alibaba "Cainiao" was the operator of delivery of orders from the marketplace, including entering into agreements with logistics operators for the online marketplace.
