The largest honey production facility in Bashkiria received priority status

Investment project of "Bee Happy" company to produce finished honey products in Bashkortostan was included in the list of priority projects, 3.7 billion rubles were invested in the project, it will be implemented until 2028, the press-service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic reported.

"The implementation of the project with investments of over 3.7 billion rubles will contribute to the creation of a unique "Honey Academy" in Bashkortostan, a fund of innovation and expertise for beekeeping of the 21st century. This will turn the republic into a model centre for the honey industry at the national level. At the same time, the project corresponds to the priorities of the region's socio-economic development and will increase the volume of annual tax revenues in the consolidated budget. The Bashkortostani government guarantees investors' support in running their businesses in a comfortable and efficient way," said Rustam Muratov, head of the ministry.

The investment project is aimed at creating the largest industrial-scale ready-made honey production in the Russian Federation in Bashkortostan. It will be oriented to export to major importing countries by setting up a laboratory with international accreditation for testing honey quality, the ministry explained.

The product line will consist of 2 thousand tons of linden honey, 2.5 thousand tons of monofloral honey, 677 tons of buckwheat honey and 1.1 thousand tons of mixed honey annually.

The project is to be implemented in twelve districts of the Republic including Dyurtyulinsky, Bizhbulyaksky, Belebeyevsky, Askinsky, Belokataysky, Birsky, Burzyansky, Gafuriysky, Ishimbaysky, Kugarchinsky, Kuyurgazinsky and Khaybullinsky. The production will create 158 new jobs.
