Shaping the Greater Eurasian Partnership to be discussed at the WEF

One of the important topics to be discussed at the VI Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) will be the formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. This was announced by Anton Kobyakov, advisor to the Russian President and executive secretary of the forum's organizing committee, according to the Roscongress website.

"The Eastern Economic Forum is an important platform for the development of fruitful and long-term cooperation between Russia and APR countries. At the same time, the Forum's business program also pays considerable attention to the development of integration processes in Greater Eurasia, primarily in the trade and economic sphere," Kobyakov said.

In particular, at the session on Greater Eurasian Partnership we will discuss whether economies, businessmen and residents of Eurasia will benefit from this partnership, and whether transport and economic corridors could become the framework of Greater Eurasia. Also the participants will discuss whether the prospect of creating a Greater Eurasian energy space is real, how the future of the financial dimension of the Greater Eurasia is seen, and whether "digital" can play the role of the driving force of the integration of national development strategies.

Recall that the WEF-2021 business program includes four main areas: "The Economy of the New Age: What Will Change and What Will Remain," "Far East - New Challenges and Opportunities," "Shared Responsibility in a Changed World" and "Youth WEF.

The Forum will be held on September 2-4 in Vladivostok.
