The Far East's potential for investors will be presented at WEF-2021

The Far East Street exhibition, which will present the economic potential, tourism opportunities, cultural traditions, and investment projects of Far Eastern regions, will open on the waterfront of Ajax Bay as part of the Eastern Economic Forum 2021, the Roscongress Foundation said.

"The main objective of the Eastern Economic Forum is to attract investors and feedback from business. The Far East Street exhibition is an opportunity to present your Far Eastern region to foreign delegations, international business, scientific and public circles. The exhibition makes it possible to present work on the socio-economic development of territories. Regional heads and residents can show what they love about their land, what they plan to do, and what prospects they see. To attract investors and tourists," said Yury Trutnev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District.

The exhibition will be open for participants of the Eastern Economic Forum from 2 to 4 September, Vladivostok citizens and guests will be able to visit it on September 5-6 and a social day is scheduled for September 7.

Each region will present its own exposition at the exhibition. For example, in Kamchatka Territory pavilion "Save Kamchatka" guests will be introduced to the project of hydrogen power development, they will learn about the construction of the new airport "Yelizovo", touristic and scientific potential of the peninsula. The Republic of Buryatia at the exposition "Baikal - Buryatia. Traditions with Future" will place the models of helicopters by Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant: VRT500 and Mi-171A2. The pavilion will also host an exhibition and sale of Buryat jade products, reception of a Tibetan doctor and tea ceremonies, master classes in the Buryat folk dance Yokhor.

Khabarovsk Territory will present its exposition "Future Today" where guests will be told about innovations in the region, investment potential and industrial development. The pavilion will also feature an AR hockey zone and eco-park "Technopark". Sakhalin Region will open the Green Business - Green Islands exposition. The region will pay special attention to investment projects, oil and gas industry and ecological projects. Four photo zones, Healthy bar and a stage for Sakhalin artists' performances will be placed in the pavilion.

In addition, the central site of the Far Eastern Street exhibition will host the Far Eastern Village, which will showcase the most prominent projects implemented in the Far Eastern hectares, as well as a fair of products made by local producers. Besides, for the first time, the exhibition will showcase the Aurus Senat production car demonstration: the Aurus Senat sedan and the Aurus Senat hydrogen-powered sedan. There will also be a sports and concert program.

In 2019, "Street of the Far East" was visited by about 50 thousand people.
