A new flour mill, which will produce up to 40 varieties of flour, is planned to be launched in the Krasnodar region in 2022 with the participation of Turkish investors, said regional governor Veniamin Kondratiev.

"A new flour mill will appear in the Abinsky district. We have discussed the implementation of the project with investors from Turkey. The enterprise is planned to be located on the basis of the Kholmsky Bakery Products Plant. The first phase will be launched in October 2022, "- Kondratiev wrote in his social networks.

According to him, the region is now seeking not only to export wheat, but to supply flour and products made of it. He noted that the plant will be able to meet the needs of any country. It is planned that the new plant will produce 40 types of flour, which will expand Kuban's export potential.

The authorities expect that the enterprise will be able to reach its full capacity after the second line is commissioned, in April 2023. The project will create over 70 new jobs.
