The Russian president has proposed extending the moratorium on inspections of small businesses
Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed to extend the moratorium on inspections of small businesses in all economic spheres for another year.
"I support the proposal to extend the moratorium on scheduled inspections of small businesses for the next year. <...> At that, not only inspections of rural small and medium businesses, but in all sectors of the economy," he said at the second stage of the United Russia congress.
Earlier, on August 22, Putin said that he would discuss with the government the issue of a moratorium on inspections of business next year. Then he pointed out that "the less administrative pressure, the better."
In May, Business Ombudsman Boris Titov said that a moratorium on tax and other inspections of companies in the pandemic, along with other measures to reduce administrative pressure, allowed entrepreneurs to save about 200 billion rubles in the crisis year overall on fines.
