Russian agricultural producers may apply for grants of up to 10 million rubles for the development of agro-tourism until 2022. This was reported by Renata Bibarsova, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

"Next year we are planning to introduce a new grant that will be provided for small agricultural producers of any form of ownership for the development of agrotourism. The grant will be provided up to 10 million rubles, and the projects will be selected by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia", - Bibarsova said.

She noted that the preliminary selection has already been completed. In total, the agency has received about 270 projects.

The Ministry expects that by October, the legal basis of subsidizing will be approved, and grant assistance will be included in the budget till 2025.
