Metropolitan special transport deliveries to foreign markets in the first five months of this year increased by 2.3 times, to 13.2 million dollars, compared with last year and the year before, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Vladimir Efimov.

We are talking about, among other things, emergency repair vehicles and equipment for street cleaning.

"For comparison, the export of these products for the five months of 2020 was $5.81 million, the same figure we recorded in the same period of 2019," he explained.

According to the Mosprom center, the leaders among importers this year were Myanmar (purchases worth $7.14 million), Kazakhstan (over $4.7 million) and Uzbekistan (over half a million dollars).

Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, Alexander Prokhorov said that this year's supply of special vehicles in Myanmar increased by 187.5% compared with last year. The market of this country accounted for 54.1% of all Moscow exports of such products, he said.
