Russia became 12% more likely to import palm oil and its fractions in the first half of this year compared to last year's figures for the same period, Rosstat data show.

A total of 529 thousand tons of palm oil was imported into the country in six months.

In addition, imports of coconut palm kernel oil increased by almost 17%, to 61.7 thousand tons. The same growth was shown in the imports of sunflower, safflower or cottonseed oil.
