Distribution center for agricultural products with total area of 20 thousand square meters will appear in Elektrostal, near Moscow, on the territory of industrial park Victoria Industrial Park, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science.

It will feature cold stores for strawberries, mushrooms, tomatoes and cucumbers and freezers for frozen food, fish and meat. Moreover, on the territory of the industrial park will be erected storages for dry products and equipped auxiliary and technical premises.

The distribution centre is planned to be launched in the third quarter of the next year. The project will be implemented by Freshistoria, which is now selecting contractors for the construction.

"The volume of investments in the company's project will amount to more than 1.3 billion rubles. <...> The launch of this facility will provide a year-round supply of fresh products to consumers, establish direct contacts between the participants of trade operations, improve product quality through the use of modern technologies", - said the head of the Ministry Ekaterina Zinovieva.

She noted that the launch of the center will allow to create around180 new jobs in the region and will contribute to the promotion of domestic agricultural products in other countries.
