Up to 10 cross-industry projects aimed at the development of electronic industry and implementation of domestic solutions in all sectors of the economy will be launched in Russia by the end of the year, TASS reports referring to the press service of the country's government.

The launch of such project was announced by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. He noted that for each such project there will be "an anchor consumer with its mass demand".

According to him, today five projects have already been identified where state companies are the customers. For example, "Rostelecom", VTB and Rosatom are among them.

Head of the Government said that Russia has a good scientific and technical capacity for full cycle electronics manufacturing, but it is important to build a chain between the developers and consumers, which would connect market needs, capabilities of producers and integrators as well as create the right tools to shape demand for radioelectronic products. He said that these issues are already being worked out.
