The Russian government will distribute another 398.4 million roubles to 15 regions of the country to reimburse agricultural producers for their expenses under agricultural insurance contracts. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The regions included Bryansk, Kaluga, Tambov, Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl regions, as well as Karelia and Stavropol Territory. They declared the need for compensation.

The Government expects this decision to increase insured sown area by 94.6 thousand hectares and provide an increase in insured farm animals to 178.9 thousand.

The funds will come from the government's reserve fund, the press service added. Within 20 days, the Ministry will sign subsidy agreements with the regional authorities, and then will control the intended use of the money.
