Authorities of the Kemerovo region signed an agreement with Sibshakhtostroy on the development of tourist facilities at the ski resort of Sheregesh at the Eastern Economic Forum. It is expected to attract more than 2 billion rubles of additional funds, according to the press service of the regional government.

Within the limits of the reached agreements investment projects will be realized on organization and development of the transport ropeway, and also service and entertainment zones. Besides, it is planned to build a hotel with 120 rooms with swimming pool and SPA complex.

The works under the agreement will be completed by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2026.

Governor of the region Sergey Tsivilev noted that one of the tasks of the authorities is to make Sheregesh a year-round resort and reach the world level.

"Implementation of the agreement concluded today will allow to attract 2 billion 138.2 million rubles of additional financing for development of Sheregesh and will contribute to creation of 173 new jobs", - he emphasized.

The VI Eastern Economic Forum takes place in Vladivostok on September 2-4.
