Russia increased export of ice cream by 38%

In the first half of 2021, Russia increased the volume of ice cream exports in monetary terms to $47 million. This is 38% higher than in the same period of 2020.

According to Rosselkhozbank, the main buyers of ice cream were the United States and Kazakhstan.

In addition, the supply of other Russian products has grown: carbonated beverages - by 48%, to 153 million dollars, confectionery sugar - by 19%, to 93 million dollars, fruit juices - by 20%, to 25 million dollars, jams, jellies and marmalades - by 12%, to 21 million dollars.

Recall that according to experts, Russian chocolate made it into the top ten most exported product categories in the first six months of 2021. Its delivery abroad has grown by 23% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 340 million dollars in value terms. The main consumers of Russian chocolate are Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, China.
