Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Moscow region will be able to receive a subsidy of up to 10 million rubles for modernization of their production facilities. This was announced by Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region Ekaterina Zinovieva.

"Subsidies are one of the most popular support measures for SMEs in our region. Competitive selection for the "Modernization" subsidy is held this year for the second time. In 2021, 550 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for the implementation of this program. Within the limits of the subsidy it is supposed to compensate to the businessmen of Moscow suburbs up to 50 percent of expenses. Thus the maximum amount of compensation - 10 million rubles" - it has told.

It is noted that within the subsidizing program entrepreneurs can partially compensate expenses related to purchase of equipment for creation and development or modernization of production of goods and services.

One may apply for participation in the contest on granting subsidies through the portal of public and municipal services. Applications will be accepted until 30 September.
