The boundaries of "Kamchatka" Advanced Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) in Kamchatka Territory will be expanded to include new land plots, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved such a resolution. Development of infrastructure will allow to implement projects that will create at least 4 thousand jobs and attract about 128 billion rubles in investments, the website of the Cabinet of Ministers informs.

"This decision will help to create favorable conditions for implementation of the investment project on construction of a high-tech fish processing complex. It is expected that thanks to this at least 750 million rubles will be invested in the region's economy", - the statement says.

The resolution also provides for increase in financing of PSA "Kamchatka" from the federal budget by 10,3 billion rubles. Funds will be allocated for creation of infrastructure necessary for work of the resident companies. In particular, this applies to grid connection, heat and water supply and road construction, as the government specifies.

ASEZs are a special tool for the development of territories designed to stimulate the priority sectors of the economy and attract new investors, thereby contributing to the growth of the well-being of the inhabitants of the regions. Residents enjoy a wide range of benefits and preferences, including reduced tax and insurance contribution rates and a free customs zone procedure.
