The construction of the second stage of an oilseeds processing plant has started in Lipetsk Region. This was reported by the regional administration's press service.

According to the plant's design, it will be able to process 2.7 thousand tons of soybeans and 2 thousand tons of rapeseed per day. To provide new production with feedstock, an elevator with 250 thousand cubic meters of oil-bearing raw materials storage is being constructed, with the further extension up to 330 thousand cubic meters and the possibility to simultaneously take two kinds of oil-bearing crops. An oil tank storage with 18 thousand cubic meter volume is under construction. Railway and road logistics on reception of raw materials and shipment of production are organized.

A total of 350 new jobs will be created in the factory.

Igor Artamonov, head of the region, noted that a modern high-tech production using the most advanced engineering technologies has been created at the plant. "We are glad that investors with a high production culture are coming to us. Of course, we will support all endeavors of our business partners. Thank you for your work and for the people who work here, receiving a decent salary," Igor Artamonov said.
