Investments in investment projects in the Trans-Urals will exceed ₽111 billion by 2024

About 150 investment projects are planned to be implemented in Trans-Urals until 2024, the total amount of investments in them will be over 111 billion rubles, Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov told TASS in an interview.

"The new medium-term development program for Zauralye is calculated until 2024. It enables us to eliminate big gaps in the economic development of this subregion fast enough. Currently 115 investment projects worth over 16 billion rubles are being implemented in Trans-Urals. At the same time, there are another 33 investment projects which have been prioritized. The measures of the State support are envisaged for them. The Sub-Urals development program is 111.7 billion rubles in investments, including priority projects", said Mr. Nazarov.

According to him, 2.7 billion rubles is allocated from the federal funds, about 50 million rubles from the local budgets and almost 6.9 billion rubles from the republican budget. The rest is investments of companies and enterprises conducting business activities and borrowed credit resources, he noted.

Among the largest investment projects the Prime Minister named the development of Vostochno-Semenovskoye gold-copper-zinc deposit in the Semenovskiy Mine, where there are 5.5 billion rubles in investment, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company which is investing 18 billion rubles in the development of Novo-Uchalinskiy copper-copper-zinc deposit, and will give more than 20 billion rubles in the next three years to develop Uchalinskiy GOK ore base.

In addition, according to the prime minister, by 2024 a macaroni production facility should be launched at the Sibai elevator and a dairy farm for 1,280 cows in the Zianchurinsky district.

"This gives both the jobs needed in the Trans-Urals and additional opportunities for the economy," he said.
