In Russia, the share of companies with foreign participation decreased by 40% to 28.4 thousand in three years. This was reported by the newspaperKommersant, citing SKB Kontur.

The overall drop in the number of registered legal entities, according to the newspaper, was only 22%. Decrease in the indicator of foreign participation in the national economy may be connected with capital outflow from the country as a whole, the authorities' measures on deoffshorization, sanctions and the negative impact of the pandemic.

A significant share of domestic companies with foreign participation is engaged in financial services, according to the media. In second place are entities associated with "the activities of head offices and management consulting. The third line is occupied by companies in the field of automotive industry.

Most of the enterprises with foreign participation are located in Moscow and St. Petersburg. At the same time 272 such companies are registered on the territory of Crimea, despite the sanctions. The smallest share of such structures is noted in the national republics, the publication reported.

The share of companies with foreign participation and in the Far East, where entrepreneurs can take advantage of the special tax regime, decreased by 27% - this is lower than in Russia as a whole.
