A free acceleration program for representatives of business in the tourism sector will be held in Kamchatka. The training will start on 27 September and will last for 2.5 months, the Kamchatka Territory Government said.

Tour operators, employees of enterprises, engaged in tourism catering, representatives of the hotel industry, private museums, sightseeing projects and other organizations in the tourism sector may become participants of the accelerator. Besides representatives of the companies manufacturing souvenirs are invited to take part in the event.

"The main objectives we are pursuing, introducing this educational program - to give our small businesses the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship, learn how to create, improve, promote competitive products in the tourism industry", - said Natalia Delemen, the head of the department of business development of the Ministry of Investment, industry and entrepreneurship of the Kamchatka region.

During the training entrepreneurs will learn how to create a value proposition, to present their product so that it will be bought. Accelerator experts will tell how to implement lean business development technologies and how to test new ideas for viability, she explained.

The training format will be hybrid. At the end of the accelerator each participant will receive a certificate of completion.
