Kaluga companies have supplied to European markets more than 1.6 thousand tons of chanterelles and mushrooms since the beginning of 2021, said the Department of Rosselkhoznadzor for Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions.

More than 744 tons of chanterelles were sent from the region to Germany, Lithuania and Latvia. Almost 900 tons of mushrooms were exported from Kaluga Region to Belarus.

All mushrooms were grown at one of the local enterprises or harvested in their natural environment.

The Rosselkhoznadzor has issued more than 170 phytosanitary certificates for export of goods. The examination of the goods confirmed the absence of quarantine pests in the mushrooms.
