Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov during his speech at the Government Hour in the Federation Council spoke about what is necessary for private investors.

"Economic growth is directly related to restarting the investment cycle. This is about 30% of our economic growth. Private investment needs transparent long-term conditions, stability and predictability," he said.

To that end, he said, legislation was formed to protect and encourage investment, and in July, the relevant laws were amended based on accumulated experience.

"It is very important to improve the regional investment climate for investors in the regions to launch projects faster, and we have the majority of medium and large projects launched in the regions. Here we are working on the regional investment standard. And also to implement measures for the transformation of the business climate," he added.
