Russian Yessentuki mineral water has become in demand among customers in the USA

Over 260 tons of mineral water have been exported from Stavropol Territory to the US since the beginning of 2021, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture said.

"Spotted on the shelves in US supermarkets Yessentuki mineral water and Cool Walker seeds caused a storm of delight among Stavropol internet users. Pride in domestic products that are in demand in America has drawn attention to a group of goods that are regularly supplied to this country. Since the beginning of the year, 264 tons of products worth $104,000 have been exported from Stavropol Territory to the United States," the ministry said.

Thus, 99 tons of mineral water with added sugar were delivered for $36 thousand, and 152 tons of mineral water without added sugar for $57.2 thousand. In addition, canned fruit and peas, fried sunflower seeds were exported from the Stavropol Territory to America.

The agency notes that the only legitimate producer of the legendary water "Essentuki N4" and "Essentuki N17" in the world is Stavropol "Holding Aqua," which provides a full cycle of production, bottling and distribution of mineral water in the Caucasian Mineral Waters.

"Last year, despite the pandemic, the company improved its performance - revenue growth was more than 45% compared to the previous year. At the same time about 250 million rubles were transferred to budgets of different levels in the form of tax deductions. Holding Aqua's products were supplied both to federal chains all over Russia, and to 15 countries from Canada and the USA to China and New Zealand", - Svyatoslav Vilk, CEO of Holding Aqua, noted.

In 2020 the company became the largest exporter of mineral water in the Stavropol area with export revenues of $2.65 million. This year, the company intends to expand its sales geography by supplying products to Israel, Germany, Turkey and the Baltic countries. This will help to increase export volumes by 50%.
