Production of agricultural products in Penza Region in January-August showed growth in a number of positions, according to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

"According to the results of January-August 2021 in the Penza region production of dairy products increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, including a 10% increase in the production of milk (except raw milk) and dairy products," - follows the message.

During this period, local producers increased the production of bakery and pastry by 4% and the production of pasta by 5.3%.

Besides, according to regional statistics production of sugar increased by 33.5% in eight months.
