The Russian Ministry of Health has received documents from the Gamaleya Center for registration of the vaccine against coronavirus infection Gam-covid-vac-M for adolescents.

Alexei Kuznetsov, an aide to the Minister of Health, has told TASS that the documents will be sent for expert examination which will result in a decision to register the drug.

He noted that in the case of approval, adolescents will be vaccinated only on a voluntary basis and only with the consent of parents or other legal representatives.
