State Corporation "Roscosmos" plans to create an operator to provide services for commercial experiments on the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).

According to "Interfax" with reference to the tender from the public procurement website, the contractor will be engaged in "preparation and support of coordination of the draft decision of the state corporation "Roscosmos" on the issue of creating an operator to provide services in the Russian segment of the ISS in matters of commercial use of the ISS. In addition, the contractor will have to analyze at least 20 completed or underway experiments on the Russian segment of the ISS, in order to investigate their commercialization potential.

In addition, Roscosmos' tender envisages the development of a website and a mobile application dedicated to the provision of opportunities for commercial experiments on the ISS.

The deadline for the work is July 15, 2022, with a cost of 60 million rubles.
