Russian exporters of agricultural products may apply for reimbursement of transportation costs for deliveries this year and last year, the Russian Export Center (REC) said.

"The Russian government has allocated additional 1.5 billion rubles for this support measure. Applications for compensation can be made through the "My Export" platform," the report said.

Exporters of agricultural goods will be able to receive support for shipments they made in the fourth quarter of last year or in the first to third quarters of this year.

According to Alexei Solodov, vice president of the REC, currently more than 1 thousand applications for compensation have already been sent by agricultural producers, however, the 3 billion rubles funding that has been allocated this year has already been fully absorbed by exporters in the first half of the year.
