Use of Sputnik Lite vaccine approved in Egypt
Egypt's Medicines Authority has approved the use of the Russian drug against coronavirus infection Sputnik Lite in the country, the press service of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said.
"Vaccination with the Sputnik Lite drug in Egypt will allow a faster formation of population immunity in the most populous country in the Middle East, which is home to more than 100 million people," the statement said.
Egypt already approved a two-component Russian drug, Sputnik V, this winter.
