The Stavropol Territory winemaking industry is to receive 104 million rubles next year, a 9% increase compared to 2021, according to the website of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

"The main part of the limits - more than 99.3 million rubles - will be provided by the federal center. Co-financing from the regional treasury will amount to 5% (about 4.9 million rubles)," the report says.

With this money winegrowers and wine-makers will be able to partially refund expenses for planting, equipment, espaliers, planting material and organization of nurseries, etc.

There are currently about 50 companies involved in viticulture in the region.
