Private Russian space corporation Success Rockets will launch the Nebo 25 suborbital rocket in November from its test site in the Astrakhan region.

"We ironically named the first mission The bear wakes up. The launch of our suborbital rocket is scheduled for as early as November this year," follows the company's Instagram post.

According to media reports, the main task of the upcoming flight is to set a new national record for the altitude of the flight among private companies. To do so, the rocket will have to overcome an altitude of 20 kilometers. Throughout the flight, it will receive telemetry data and collect and record onboard readings.

The Nebo 25 is a single-stage solid rocket with a length of 3.5 meters, a maximum diameter of 11 centimeters, and a launch mass of 65 kilograms. The missile's maximum engine thrust is about 640 kilograms, its operating time is eight seconds and full impulse is 50 kilonewtons-second.

As media reports referring to the company, after the launch, the rocket should twice exceed the speed of sound and reach a height of at least 20 kilometers.

Success Rockets specified that the chevron of the first mission in several variants was designed by students of the British Higher School of Design.
