The Moscow Mayor's Office has signed a cooperation agreement with the Athens government. According to Sergey Cheremin, head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, the program is designed for 2022-2024.

"We had a meeting with Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis. Its most important result was the signing of the cooperation program between the Moscow City Government and the Mayor of Athens for 2022-2024. It defines the partnership between the two cities in the spheres of transport development, urban planning policy, historical heritage preservation, culture, sports and environment", - TASS reports.

Cheremin also reminded the Athens delegation that today Moscow, "according to rating agencies, is one of the most attractive regions for foreign investors, not only in Europe but all over the world.

The parties also discussed the prospects of holding the Days of Moscow in Athens next year and, as a reciprocal step, the Days of Athens in Moscow.
