The new methodology of investment climate rating will be approved in Russia by November 1. The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) Svetlana Chupsheva informed about it.

"The project of the new investment rating is already ready. In the nearest time we plan to present it on investment council in Tatarstan. By November 1, I think, we will approve it at the rating committee. Also this year we will start surveying and forming of statistical data in accordance with the new methodology of the rating," - said TASS.

She noted that the changes were developed on the basis of the proposals of experts, representatives of the authorities of the country's regions, business associations and various groups of entrepreneurs.

The national investment climate rating has been compiled by the ASI since 2014 on behalf of the Russian president. It assesses the efforts of regional authorities to create favourable conditions for doing business and identifies best practices, and its results stimulate competition for investment at the regional level.
