Dmitrovsky plant offered Natura Siberica assistance in restarting production

Dmitrov pilot plant of aluminium and combined tape offered Natura Siberica to restart production of cosmetics, RIA Novosti reported citing a statement from the company.

According to the company, the proposal for cooperation, "which will minimize losses of the cosmetics company", was sent to Dmitry Ganzer, CEO of First Solution (the main legal entity of the brand), "given the long-term partnership".

"The plant is ready to lease production facilities from First Solution (if such a proposal would not contradict court injunctions and other provisional measures), which would provide jobs and resume production," the company said.

The company also added that the proposal will help "First Solution" to avoid bankruptcy and to continue normal operations. At the same time, the amount of rent can be determined with the help of an independent appraisal organization.

The plant is ready to consider other options for cooperation, which will allow continuing production of cosmetic products, they said.

At the same time, the plant reminded that it has been trying to recover compensation from the company for a fire that occurred in March 2020, destroying the main production building. At the end of August, the contract with the "First Solution" was terminated, and the property inside was transferred to the company's owner, Irina Trubnikova, for safekeeping.

Natura Siberica continues a serious corporate conflict that began after the death of its founder Andrey Trubnikov. Earlier, the current president of Natura Siberica Sergey Builov told the media that the company had been forced to stop the operation of some of its stores, stopped production and sales of its own brands due to a conflict with the rights holder.
