Agrosharing service will appear in Russia in 2023. It will operate as a marketplace for the rental of agricultural machinery - combines, trucks and tractors, the press service of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) told reporters.

The marketplace will be a set of microservices, including systems and aggregators of data on the environment, including weather and traffic jams, schedule of using and servicing equipment, services of data on clients of agricultural machinery, insurance, banking, financial partners and others.

It is expected that the users of "Agroschering" will be private owners and small agricultural producers, agricultural enterprises and holdings, leasing companies and banks. Machinery will be available not only in agriculture, but also in the construction and forestry industries. Since the seasonal peaks of these three industries are different, the machinery will be used continuously, not only during the sowing and harvesting campaigns, the NTI explained.

The project has already been tested by 70 Russian farmers, underwent an acceleration programme in California, and received support and interest from farmers, industry associations and regional authorities. In the first year of operation, the company expects to generate up to 20 million rubles per season per month, and in three years, Agroshearing intends to enter the US, Canadian, and Australian markets, generating annual revenue of $20 million.
