The SME Corporation has sent to the Prosecutor General's Office a list of over 1.3 thousand small business inspections for January-August this year to determine the legality of their conduct during the moratorium, the press service of the corporation said.

The list included scheduled inspections of regional authorities, Rospotrebnadzor, Rostransnadzor, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Rosgvardia and Rostrud.

Mainly the checks affected small companies that work with real estate, retail or whose activities are related to freight transport and transportation services, construction of buildings or agriculture.

Alexander Isayevich, director general of the SME Corporation, reminded that the organization accepts appeals from entrepreneurs directly.

"After reviewing more than 300 such requests, the results of about 100 inspections were cancelled. In addition, we are acting proactively and have sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office with a list of planned inspections, for which we consider it necessary to determine the legality of conducting during the moratorium," he added.

The Russian government extended the moratorium on inspections of businesses for the next year. About 100 thousand small and medium-sized companies will fall under the moratorium.
